What is Zen? Besides three pounds of flax, it's a philosophy wholly devoted towards maintaining your awareness wholly on the present moment -- and learning just how sublime (and difficult) that can be. Jakebe, a longtime meditator and Zen practitioner, will lead a brief discussion on the basic principles of Zen as well as a meditation that will hopefully help cultivate deeper engagement and gratitude throughout the con.
